While parakeets would lose over time the learned phrases of humans over multiple generations on their own, their behaviors might pass on, and develop ‘learned’ social traits. Still, if humans suddenly vanished from the planet, their offspring would for awhile still use human voices.
Only situation where I’ve ever been tempted to use the phrase “kawaii”.
