I love this idea! Ever since I saw it at Busch Gardens(The top image) I thought it was an incredibly creative way to give the public a chance to interact with tigers in a way that is safe for both of them, while also being enriching for the tigers because it’s something they can choose to do.
However, the second image is at Wuhan Zoo in China, and that is way too many cats for one enclosure. Also, they look a bit thin. I looked into the zoo more, and it turns out this is something they do too:
So, not happy with the second picture. Think the first one is an awesomely creative encounter/enrichment idea.
